It could be many things from bad fuel to a tune up.... I really think it's one of the oxygen sensors located in the Exhaust system (I know this from my dad's car) it may have one and some cars have two. One can be bad or both can be bad. They sell them at auto stores. Make sure u know what ur doing before u mess with something like that. Good luck! :)
you mean 1000 - 2000 revolutions per minute. The first thing to replace is the fuel filter, then take the car to it'd dealer and have the fuel pressure tested on the fuel rail pressure fitting.
Idle speed is controlled by the idle speed solenoid inside the throttle body.
YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE SIZE. You could be talking about a diesel, gas, hybrid, carbourated, fuel injected, throttle body injected, direct injected, and on and on and on
Hello, so when I start my car after driving around, the rpms drop around 100-200 or even less and it sometimes dies. And my car is supposed to idle at 750 rpms +/- 50 . it's not the spark plugs or the wires or the cap or rotor. I just replaced those. So does anybody have a clue as to what it can be? ( this doesn't happen often but it does occur like 2/10 times)
