if the car only shakes while braking then the rotors may be warped.. if you feel it in the steering wheel then the front rotors if you feel it towards the back and maybe in the peddle the back rotors.. Now combined with the thump a seized caliper maybe could cause some of this. also thumps could be a siezed e brake or broken shock mount or transmission mount..

Talk to the shop that installed the tires about you situation and then have them take off the wheels and put back on the wheels again.

I had something similar, it turned out to be some joint on the axle, it wasn't too expensive to get fixed.

About a month ago I got all new tires. Now car seems to shake when braking. Also, sometimes when coming out of a stop (releasing the brakes even slightly)..

the car makes a thump from the rear driver side, almost like the car is stuck on something and then releases it when brake is released. Car is fine while driving and while it shifts into higher gears..solution to all this?
