Car pulls to the right when braking?

If it was a steering, tire, or mounting issue, you should notice it during normal driving. If it is related to the brakes, as Geoff said, it should be going to one side or the other. Essentially it is a sign that only one of the calipers is working and pulling it to one side. But there are some other issues that could be at work here to cause it. As you mentioned, it does not feel safe, so get it back in to get it looked at! Good luck!

Could be uneven pad wear. If one brake grabs more than another than it can cause it to pull one direction. Of course there are many other things like bad ball joints etc, that can cause this. Bad caliper on one side can cause it too. I'd take it in to get the brakes checked.

If your on nicely paved road with no bumps that come from braking 18 wheelers. And it does it, your calipers might be going up. Take it back to the place you got it from and explain to them what's happened. And try to have them fix it for free if it's not your calipers bc it was there fault to begin with.

Its either pulling to the right or the left not both , get your brakes checked

Hi. there. We have a 1999 Toyota Camry. it has about 200,000 miles on it. We have been taking care of it and has no serious problems. We just had a tire rotation yesterday. Today when driving, when we step on the brakes, the car pulls right or left. We are so scared and could possibly lose our lives. Please let us know what might be the problem or where to check for possible issues. Thank you so much.
