You can go to a chain and get a quick and dirty job done, but you get what you pay for.
You can a cheap paint job at someplace like MAACO for $1k. You can get a custom paint job at a specialty shop for $12k+. You can get a paint job everywhere in between, too. Ask around in your city.
Last time I heard you can still get an Earl Scheib paint job for $99.99. Just remember you get what you pay for...
