Car over heating?

#1. Fill the radiator to the top with a 50/50 mixture of Dexcool antifreeze and distilled water on level ground when the engine is stone cold. Fill the plastic coolant recovery reservoir 3/4 full with the same mixture.

#2. Take the car to a Chevrolet dealership and ask them to do an inexpensive *cooling system pressure test which will find any external or internal cooling system leaks.

#3. Your car is nine years old. It needs to have the entire cooling system drained, flushed and CLEANED using GM one part powered acid cooling system cleaner.

HAVE A BLOCK TEST DONE WITH A CHEMICAL AGENT KNOWN AS BLOCK CHECK. IF EXHAUST GASSES ARE PRESENT IN COOLANT BLUE SOLUTION WILL TURN YELLOW.

BLOWN HEAD GASKET.

ARE THE COOLING FANS COMING ON? AT THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE?

WAS THERE JUST STRAIGHT WATER IN THE COOLING SYSTEM PRIOR TO YOUR PROBLEM. THE STEEL WATER PUMP IMPELLER HAS BEEN KNOWN TO RUST AWAY TO NOTHING. WATER PUMP DOESN'T PUMP ENOUGH WATER....FLOW.....

double check the fan activity.

you have a leak somewhere...

I have a 05 Chevy impala and is running hot I changed the radiator, thermostat ,& water pump but still it runs hot so I had someone bleed it but the system keeps getting full of air!! any suggestions? ??
