Warranties cover mechanical faults and failures - not accidental damage. If you have comprehensive insurance that might cover it - though you would still have to pay any excess, and would lose any no claims bonus, so you would need to work out if it worth making a claim.
It's maybe about 1 1/2 -2 inches long and a half wide
You would have to file an insurance claim. The deductible may be more that than the cost to repair it. It didn't do any damage to the other vehicle? That's hard to believe.
warranty is not for damage caused by consumer. if you have comprehensive in addition to liability on your insurance coverage, it is for damage like that. comprehensive is for stuff like hail damage, a rock flying into your windshield, assaluts on doors by the wind, damage done by other people in parking lots, etc...
if its just pushed in instead of smashed in so much the dent creased, you might be able to make it pop out with dry ice. Wear heavy gloves, rub the dry ice on the dent to make the material contract, as it shrinks it will pop itself out.
Definitely not covered under any car warranty
Take it to a body shop for a quote on it - no one will be able to price that from a photograph
I just bought a 2014 camaro. The stupid wind pulled at my door and slammed it into a neighboring car = ( I'm so upset. There was no problem with the other car however I have a dent right on the edge of my door. Does anyone know a rough cost to fix it? Or does anyone know if it's by any chance in Chevys warranty to fix dent's?
