Car braking problem?

If there are no leaks in the brake line and caliper systems the next thing to have checked is the power brake booster and master cylinder.

Check your master-cylinder reservoir. Make sure it's full using the correct brake fluid as listed in the specifications pages of the glove comprtment manual.

hi, sounds like you are having a problem with the brake booster. that's the vacuum part of the brakes making them easer to push.

best get it checked.

good luck

Brake master cylinder. What happens is the seals inside are worn alowing fluid to pass by. Thats why initially the pedal is good then all the sudden goes to sponge. Replace with a new one.

its so dangerous pls you should go to a mechanic

Under hard braking my brake pedal drops an inch or two down and i hear a pump'y sound. The breaking power after this is severely reduced. After releasing the pedal and applying pressure agian fixes it until the next hard braking. What could be the problem?
