I have a 84 month battery that is only 2 1/2 years old. I've had to get a jump start 3 times in the last four months. I do a lot of local driving (shutting the car off and on) and hardly any highway driving. Could it be I'm not running the car enough on the highway or should I have the battery tested? My car (2005 Corolla) has no dashboard indicator for low battery. Is there any way I can tell the battery power is getting low?
Head for a "Pep Boy's" type service center. They will usually do a basic check of the system to help you narrow down the problem.
could be battery, charging system, loose terminals, a belt slipping, alternator, voltage regulator...a dozen things.
Nope, sorry, there is no way to tell if your battery is getting low, sorry.
Then replace it haha
Is it?
