Most people have insurance to cover paying for this though.
If we had a clue as to what kind of car, we could guess costs - and whether or not it's worth repairing, should just be made driveable or fixed "properly". Likewise, how much will his insurance cover?
As others have said, it could be fixed with junkyard parts.........to be fixed properly with new parts, from your description, it would cost thousands......the air bags alone could be $2000+. Or the insurance company may declare it a total loss.
When I replaced my driver side fender they charged me $75 and the front bumper cost me $100. As for airbags, My dad bought a steering column with the airbag for $60.
To put it simple, you would be better off parting the car out then scrapping the rest instead of repairing it. Unless you have a car that books over $5000.
No one on here can tell you what this will cost to repair. We have no idea what year, make, model, car it is and no photo of the car. Only an auto body shop can tell you the cost of repairs. Have it looked at by a body shop and they can tell you what this will cost.
I'm sure the cost of repairs will be more then the car is worth even though you haven't said what that car was.
At 1 am, Halloween night my the roads were slippery and windy and his tail whent right, he tried to recover and ended up going down a ravine and into a telephone pole head first. The cops and doctors say its amazing he is alive. all the air bags deployed, and the whole front end of the car is smashed. the cover (the grill and fender) is torn off and the hood is smashed up towards the windshield. It looks pretty bad. Is there any chance that these things can be replaced? My father recently lost his job in the summer, so money is currently tight.
If so, about how much would that cost?
