It looks foreign and I agree that Bendix usually points to brakes. My
educated guess would be a Brake Proportioning Valve. It controls the amount of pressure to the front and back brakes, in proportion. Makes sense, huh? It's definitely not a Master Cylinder.
When I see the word Bendix, I'm thinking brake master cylinder.
Is that part of the ABS?
I am going to say it is a hydraulic accumulator from a brake system.
