There is a trick however that I would only do if in an emergency. It does not recharge the battery but wakes it up in a dangerous manner.
It nmay recover a very small amount. A battery is a storage device - when you use up the energy stored it has gone and has to be replaced. Its not a magic box.

I left my lights on in my car for about 2 1/2 hours and now it won't start. However, my radio and lights still work when I turn the key. It also makes a sputtering sound when I try to turn it on. If I wait long enough wilol it turn on eventually?
