Can my battery recharge itself?

No - your battery no longer has enough power to start the engine, and has to be recharged. You either need to jump start or push start the car, then run it for a while (about an hour) to recharge the battery, or use a battery charger.

No. Car batteries don't self charge. You need a jump start.

no, you would have to get some one to help jump your battery.

There is a trick however that I would only do if in an emergency. It does not recharge the battery but wakes it up in a dangerous manner.

It nmay recover a very small amount. A battery is a storage device - when you use up the energy stored it has gone and has to be replaced. Its not a magic box.

No, they wouldn't recharge themselves. The person who invents self charging batteries (an impossibility) will make billions of pounds.

I left my lights on in my car for about 2 1/2 hours and now it won't start. However, my radio and lights still work when I turn the key. It also makes a sputtering sound when I try to turn it on. If I wait long enough wilol it turn on eventually?
