Can i use a motor to charge a battery ?

Unfortunately no, it would be like an car alternator with no diodes.

You would be creating A/C current as your alternatively pushing and pulling a magnetic field in that motor, so think water blowing then sucking thru a hose being a result, the diodes are like check valves, only allowing the blowing out of the hose ( and if the motor keeps spinning, breaking the field again) and that is DC current (direct)

DC is what you need to charge batterys (can't load them by pushing and pulling:)

DC is what runs most motors

AC is great for lights, houses, and transporting great distances because, going back to the water in a hose, it takes a whole less energy to push and pull a foot of water, thus pushing and pulling a foot of water 100 miles away, then having to push that foot of water a hundred miles....

You can go from one to another which is sweet, with some loss of energy, but cool

Thomas Edison loved DC

The world changed with Nikola tesla AC use

You would use the motor to drive a generator or alternator.... That's the only way to do it. An electric motor is "wound" differently than is a generator or alternator.

Yes.

Ok ok
