Can i replace igniton switch without a steeringwheel puller?

The ignition lock or the ignition switch? The lock is what the key goes into and yes you will have to pull the steering wheel unless the ignition lock is on the dashboard versus the steering column.

The ignition SWITCH is often accessible without yanking the steering wheel but only on some cars.

Good Luck!

The steering wheel doesn't have to be removed in order to change the ignition switch or the ignition key lock cylinder. The ignition switch is normally mounted to the steering column under the plastic trim.It has a wiring harness attached. The ignition key lock cylinder is the component that you insert the key into in order to start the car. Some people confuse these two parts by thinking the ignition switch is where you insert the key,but that's incorrect.

Next time mention make and year of car as they are all built differently. Throw us a bone, eh?

Yes. You will need the key turned to the on position and then find the hole in the bottom of the steering column just below the key and put a small round item in the hole and push in on the lock and remove the key.
