if you replaced the fuel filter with the wrong one or not installed properly it might cause problems to your car i suggest you visit a workshop and check for anything gone wrong

Apparently it has not occurred to you to go back to this place and tell them what is wrong? A fuel filter is a filter. There is no "adjustment." Something is incorrect. Not for us to guess but for the technician to find out. And, please. capitalize proper names of cars: Olds Cutlass. And tell your friends and enemies to capitalize the proper names of car brands and models, PLEASE.

Take the car to it's registered dealer.

Hello I took my car to an auto shop for a needed fuel filter change seemed to be fine on way home but the next day it was running rough almost like it was going to stall. It seemed a little better after driving a bit. Does it take the car awhile to adjust to the new filter?
