Too much to change on a modern car: computers, etc.,etc. Much more practical to just buy a car with the kind of transmission you want.
two different pieces of equipment
it is of course possible to change transmissions in a vehicle at considerable expense and effort
all in all, best to simply buy a car with the features you want
Yes. Put a for sale sign on your manual car, and buy a car that's been castrated with an automatic. Frankly I think automatics should require a more strict license and be held to higher standards on the roads because people try to do too many other things while driving with them.
Your better off to keep driving your manual car as you will get used to it and really fun to drive or get rid of it for one with an automatic that you like. It is too expensive on newer vehicles to convert one to another and may not be exactly right when said and done. The bad thing about manuals as they are not worth as much on trade as autos usually.
It is possible, but on any car made in the last 20 years, it is cheaper to trade the manual car in on the same model with an automatic transmission. There are too many associated parts that have to be traded out to make it economical.
I also think it will be reasonably expensive
Conversions like this ARE possible, but never really work out well, and usually cost more than just trading the car. There are plenty of Firebirds out there that came from the factory with automatic transmissions installed. If you don't want one with a manual trans, then don't buy it.
Yup ! but it will be reasonably expensive
Auto is much easier as u don't have to shift gear every time..
