I believe they are not wired on the same circuit and do not get power from the flasher so, NO.
A blinking that seems fast indicates turn signal bulbs that do not function for most automotive turn signals.
A vehicle with an electronic flasher will do this when bulbs are out.
The old bimetal ones would slow down because they were in series. The bulb had to light and draw current to heat the bimetal till it opened, thereby making the on/off action.
The electronic flasher used (since the early 70's for jap cars) is powered and switches the turn signals.
The bulbs use the power to light, thereby slowing the action.
Hi this is a usual cause of an indicator bulb which has fused which means it blow and because the filament was red hot at the time it re attached itself making the filament shorter in length which means it now is not a standard wattage any longer but a higher wattage so it blinks faster.

Only if the fog light is wired into the same system i.e it flashes when the turn signal is used. If all turn signal bulbs are working and it flashes fast for both directions it is PROBABLY the flasher unit.
No. It's a sign that one of the indicator bulbs has failed.
You have a bad earth if no indicator bulbs have blown, simple as that.
It is most likely the relay (flasher unit). they are cheap and very easy to replace.

I have a 2001 dodge Durango SLT 4.7L and my turn signals are blinking fast... All my lights are working besides the right fog light. Is this why it's blinking so fast? Can anyone help or have a clue
