Odds are, you've already lost a bunch of the coolant, so I wouldn't drive it that long. Could fry the engine.
A tow is a lot cheaper than an engine.
You need to get it serviced, but you get around by keeping gallons of distilled water with you and checking level and temperature gauge frequently. Don't use stop leak on a nice car like that. It needs replacing anyway.
Fill it, back the cap off one position, you could jumper the cooling fan relay to run constant, then call the shop and tell them have one ready, give info.
Drive there, have it put in.
No towbill, no wait, and no worries.
" can I drive short distances "
Depends if you can afford to replace the engine. As it is bubbling it is not holding pressure so needs replacing before driving it anywhere other than to get it done.
Risky. If you bet and lose and overheat, you could destroy the engine. A tow will be much cheaper than a new engine.
just carry jugs of water with you and keep checking it every once in awhile !
NO.
