Hi I want to help guode ypu in the right direction so take my advice wisely Yes they will 20x7 /8.0 tire size will be a 225/40/20 however the Oldsmobile alero is a heavy car so you will have to check the load rating on the tires . Also the front hubs will start to make noises because of excessive weight. And the brakes will wear faster. You will get trolled on because an alero isn't really a car that gets "tuned or modded" Stick with a set of 17s and spend the rest of the money on a classic 2 door muscle car to take out on the weekends. Another option clean up your moms alero really good and slap a for sale sign on it. Or go trade ot in on an older camaro I know for a fact you didn't grow up thinking I'm gonna get all kinds of girls in my customized Alero. I'm gonna get all kinds of girls in my custom alero said no one ever. . . Cheers. You are better than that, don't settle for less.
Yes, the Alero with 20 inch rims will look as crappy as it sounds.
Sure, if you get low profile tires. When you get bigger rims, you shrink the sidewall so that the diameter stays the same... at least when you do it right.
Go to www.tirerack.com. Look up wheel and tire packages. They will tell you what's recommended for your car.
