Burning rubber smell from rear wheels?

Offset on wheels is probably different, where the bolt flange in wheel is mounted in relation to inside/outside of wheel. Stay away from spacers, get wheels w/ correct offset.

are the width the same? they might be 17 inches, but have different width. only way to fix it is to use wheel spacers, but it will be very hard on the bearing and wear them out faster.

Fit wheel spacers.

confusing aspect. check out into bing and yahoo. it can assist!

So I just brought some new mags yesterday and put them on with my old mags tyre onto my 1997 toyota levin and after driving i could smell burning rubber, i felt inside the wheel and the tyre felt awfully close to the strut brace, could that be it? and if so, why didnt it happen with my old mags, they were both 17inchs
