Brand new battery and battery light comes on 1 day later?

Big Fords are famous for corroding the INSIDE of the positive (red wire) battery cable clamp. Pop the clamp off & scrape both the inside of the clamp & the sides of the battery post with a small pocket knife. If that helps, most all car parts stores carry a small wire brush designed just for that job.

Hi,

I hope you were you able to figure out what happened with your battery. If not, I recommend taking your F-150 to the local Ford Dealer to be diagnosed. Our certified technicians will be glad to take a look at your vehicle and answer any inquiries.

Locate a dealer near you, and set up an appointment with the link below:

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Sounds like rick could be right or simply the + or - terminal connection is loose. The battery became "disconnected" for a short time which caused the lights. The problem went away because the connection reestablished itself.

You know what they say.....FORD.... Fix Or Repair Daily.
