Take the car to a REAL mechanic and get the brakes replaced. While they have it, they can inspect the suspension for any additional problems.
We need to know the year, make and model of the car so we can look-up brake parts and wheel bearing hubs.
take it in. You might be having alignment problems, and you really don't want to lose control or maybe lose a wheel doing 55 mph down the highway.
It seems more like you have an axle bearing problem than a brake problem
It is a loud squeaking and metal on metal scraping sound. it feels like i have tension when i turn right. I feel an occasional bump like i hit a pothole with just that tire when im going 45mph it has only made a bump a couple of times. should i just try replacing the brake pad.
