Brake problem?

More than likely you didn't buy OEM ceramic brake pads with anti-vibration shims and new anti-rattle clips. Did you sand the rust off the caliper brackets where the ends of the pads slide and coat the surfaces with synthetic brake grease? Did you replace the caliper slide pins with factory originals and coat them with synthetic brake grease?

Know if it's coming from the front or back and which side? Well then you know what you have to do. Take it a part and redo it.

The squeaking could be coming from your rotors being uneven. You can get it checked for free at most big auto service centers .

The back brakes need to be adjusted. On your back drums, the breaks are probably not all evenly pressing against the drum. An uneven amount of the break is being applied and it makes a loud squeek

I have a 2001 dodge durango 4.7l v8

Recently i replaced the front and back brakes.

The pads/rotors on the front ( calipers looked fine )

And on the back i replaced the springs/pads/adjuster cables/drums

But i have this very loud squeeking when i apply my brakes.

And often my abs light and brake light come on and randomly go off. this has been happening for a few days now.

My brake fluid is fine and so is the master cylinder.

Any ideas on what might be the problem?

please no reply saying " get it checked at the garage " because i know i should butt not all of us are made of money.
