There are better, more efficient chemical paint strippers out there if that's what you are looking to do. Save the brake fluid for your brakes.

Ok, so I have heard all sorts of things regarding brake fluid. Some say it softens the paint and you can just wipe it off. Other people say that it will corrode the metal. It runs through still lines though. It might corrode aluminum. Has anyone ever used it to clear old paint off and prepare the car for a new paint job? If it works, it sure beats sanding. Does it affect the coating of new paint being applied, or would you need to flush it off with lacuer thinner first?
