Belle tire?

Considering they change the valve stems ever time you get a new tire installed, they ARE to blame if the valve stems leak because it would no longer have to do with the car being a Charger. You certainly can't blame them for the nail, but the valve stems are their fault and if there was a problem with the rims bad enough to make the tires leak they should have caught that when installing the tires in the first place. The installation job includes cleaning up the rim where the tire bead sits to ensure a good seal, and then sealing the tire with bead adhesive.

Avoid Belle Tire like the plague! They once raped me for nearly $600 for a rear brake job, which is drum brakes that I could have picked up at Autozone for a total of about $100 and done myself, but the car was undriveable and it was in the middle of winter so I was kind of stuck. Take your car to anyplace else for your tire jobs. Even Walmart can give you a good tire installation.

If they would have changed the valve stems you would ***** about the extra cost and from the sounds of it only one in three were bad, doesn't sound like a epidemic to me. And I'm sure you were the one driving when you ran over the nail, but it was the tire dealers fault? How about the guy that left the nail for you to run over, he's not at fault? So you went in for a flat and you found out that you needed all new tires, maybe they saved your life by pointing out the tires need replacing but all you do is complain.

Did you need four tyres in the first place, what tread depth was left on the old ones? I'm not saying you didn't need four new tyres but you must have know if they were worn down the replacement level.

There are tyre shops in my town which will try and sell you four tyres when you go in with a flat (and a new exhaust, brake pads and battery) if they cam get away with it. Which is why I use a local shop who only sells you what you need and guarantees his work.

You can have an unlucky run on nails but valves and rims should not give you problems.

Any good tire shop will put in new valve stems automatically. And if they couldn't find the nail i would try to stay from there.

If they are the "electronic pressure monitor" type valve stems, they are over $100 a pc. Do you have this feature on your car? Could be why they did not change them out.

So in January I had a flat tire on my rear passenger side. I took it to belle tire where they told me I needed to replace all 4 tires. So I went ahead and did that. Ever since they put on the tires I have had nothing but problems. I have brought it in 4 times within 10 months. The first time my rear passenger was going low they said it was a bad valve on the tire, the second time same tire they blamed it on the rims and finally the third time my oil change place found the nail. This fourth time it was my front passenger, again with a bad valve. When I told the guy I was upset with all these problems that started after I got these tires he was pretty rude and said, "I know you want to blame us but it's not us or the tires." Then went on to say dodge chargers have bad valve stems. If they knew that why didn't they just replace them to begin with in January when they put the new tires on to save everyone from this trouble. I have a long drive to work and it makes me nervous having to constantly be worried about my tires. Has anyone else had problems with Belle Tire or heard of bad valve stems on dodges?
