Battery hold down bolt?

The more the battery shakes, the faster it'll die. Buy a new hold down for $10 or keep buying batteries at $100/crack. Your choice.

A bungee works as a temporary fix. There are Universal type hold downs and bolts at Parts Stores. Cut the "J-bolt" to fit. Or go to the dealer.

No that will be unsafe. New bolt needed. There is often an alternative threaded hole to use for the clamp.

Check for a replacement at your friendly neighborhood car parts store.

it needs to be soldered back on at a car mechanics garage and costs money!!!

the bolt that holds the battery down broke with me when i was taking the battery out to lay a piece of rubber mat in the battery box ! can i just use a bundgee cord to hold the battery down ? thanks guys
