JJ is right. Batteries can't be rebuilt without destroying them. The number one reason why a battery gets old, weak and inefficient is because of calcium buildup on the Anode (positive plate). Calcium clogs the pores.
A high reverse charge MIGHT knock the calcium off, but the battery could easily explode doing that. Ever see a hydrogen explosion? You don't want to see a hydrogen explosion. I've seen batteries burst and I've seen them explode. Just a tad messy. Can remove part of the hood and the acid all over everything under the hood can destroy plenty.
Rebuilt? They don't rebuild them. They RECYCLE them. Plastic gets shredded, acid gets neutralized and lead gets remelted and reformed into plates (battery plates) and it all gets re Built - NEW. Not rebuilt like an engine. No moving parts. All 100% purely an electro-chemical reaction.
Hope this helps.

I have never seen a rebuilt battery, why would you rebuild it. You have to cut the case off and then what would you do, replace the cells and the acid? That sounds like a new battery to me.
Yes, there may be rebuilt batteries in truck but it may not be so effective.
Yes there are. Usually don't last as long, but a "cheap" new battery doesn't last long either. I try to get the longest rated battery I can. Usually less down time, but not guaranteed. New ones can go bad too.
You never want to put in your truck anything used or rebuilt. This will just cause an accident or a breakdown, (same thing). Always buy new.
