A '14 Honda cr-v is unchanged from previous years.(mechanicals) the '15 get a cvt transmission.
my mom was going to buy a new new model of a car she wanted, but she just got the 2013 instead I think, and it turns out the newer model had so many recalls
Not necessarily. Certain years produce cars with less manufacturing flaws and better designs than previous or future years. It has nothing to do with how recently they were made.
pick the car you like to look at and take care of. the kind of car that has a nickname. those are the cars that are loved and paid attention to the most by their owners. new cars pollute less and have a factory warranty. recalls mean they are correcting it
Sometimes it's better to get the 2nd yr of a car. If you like the '14 model, choose the '15 model yr. Most of the first yr bugs will be worked out.
its 2014 and if someone were to buy a new 2015 model, would that car be better made?
Is it better to get the same model year or a model year newer?(Do not take price into consideration, this question is purely out of curiosity)
