Depends normally would need the main dealer Nissan machine but some other machines like snap-on or autel might be able to read the serial code that most garages will have
Most dealers will forgive the fee if the work is done there to fix the problem, ask about it.
That diagnosis gives many possible causes so until that is known then no one will know how to fix it
My mechanic told me I should bring it to a dealer to have it fixed, but the inspection alone to find out the cause would cost over $100. Is that really the only option?
