There is a switch located at the brake pedal, which activates when you press the brake pedal. Trip the switch by hand and see if the brake lights work. If they do, you need to adjust the switch so the pedal activates the switch. If it is adjusted properly, be sure to check the switch to determine if it is working.

This can be done with an ohm meter.

Here's a bit of help - it's spelled BRAKE lights. here's another suggestion - it's probably a faulty brake light switch that is activated when you depress the pedal.

check fuse. check switch on upper part of brake pedal.

if she keeps popping fuses, check the brake light sockets for corrosion and behind them for wire issues.

check the wires linked too the brake pedal. usually a wire there will activate the lights
