the car registered that the airbag was unplugged. Now its manifesting a fault. Take it to the shop, they will erase the fault code in the cars memory.
Hi you have upset the body module this computer like the engine management computer controls all things which relate to safety on a car some cars may not even start when these sorts of things are tampered with. so it may be that the car needs transporting to the makers dealer to get all this reset.
You might be able to read the airbag code yourself and see what is triggering the airbag light
Did not say if working on steering column or passenger side, if steering column it sounds like you got something wrong when you reinstalled the clockspring,
take it to a garage
So, I was working on my vehicle and unplugged the airbag's two wires to remove it so I could work behind it. I disconected the batery and all that blah blah so it was safe. Anyway, I put everything back together and reconnected the wires to the airbag, and the airbag light started blinking I never messed with any wires or anything so I dont think it's that, but is there some kind of reset button for the airbag after reconnecting or should I just take it into a shop?
