Air Conditioner in Car Not Working?

You need to take the car to a Toyota Dealership to have the air conditioning system charged with Freon charged with dye. The dealer then can check for leaks with an ultraviolet light.

I'll diagnose if for you: the car is 14 years old . . . . the air conditioner has broken . . . get it fixed.

Perhaps the air con needs topping up , it's gas charged

You'll have to have a pro take a look, as there are several things that could be the proble.

I have a 2000 Toyota Camry. Yesterday the air conditioner mysteriously has been malfunctioning. When I turn it on, oddly it starts to smell like vinegar. It then blows warm air instead of cold air. I checked the coolant level and it was normal. Can anybody diagnose this issue?
