Every line in the tape is 1/16 of an inch, not 1/8. your black marked lines are marked 11 5/8 and *14 13/16

first arrow is 11" 5/8ths the second is 14 13/16".. every line is 1/8 an inch..

HI, James is right on the numbers but he's wrong on the marks each mark is 1/16th. not 1/8th

I'm trying to take measurements of my fish tank. I want to put a partition in it. So I can't read these measurements can you please tell me how I tell the glass worker about these measurements? I've marked them with a permanent marker.
