it wouldnt turn over. The spark plugs are not getting spark. If it won't turn over the computer won't get the cranking signal from the crank sensor and it won't allow the plugs to fire
Take the 12 volt battery to any store that sells new ones other than Auto Zone. Ask for a free 15 second battery load test to see what the reserve amperage capacity is. Amperage spins starter motors not voltage.
How do you know it is not getting spark if it won't turn over? See it is all in the way you ask the question. Think about it and try again.
Do you mean it cranks (turns over), but doesn't start? You need an OBDII code reader before you piss away your money.
You failed to mention if the check engine is set. If so then get the codes read, If not then seems fuel pump failure is likely.
