A cheap blower is just that. Good way to destroy an already weak motor. There I a reason they are tuned to put out the amount of power that they do. Start pushing it and catastrophic failure is inevitable.
The only way to make a Kia go faster is to shove it over a cliff. If speed and acceleration are that important, trade cars. Bolt on turbochargers are junk, and nobody makes a supercharger for your car. If it were available, it wouldn't fit under the hood, and the rod and main bearings (not to mention crankshaft) would fail under the added strain. Buy an engine which was designed to do what you want it to do.
A supercharger (blower) would fit the bill. Should get increase in horse power by 20-25%. Cost about $500.00 to $855.00. There is no cheap quick fixes. Cheap fixes are a waste of money! GOOD LUCK !
Hey guys so I'm getting a 2008 Kia sportage and it's a 4 cyl and well obviously the pickup in the car is pretty bad. Is there any way that isn't too expensive to get it to go faster?
Thanks!
