Probably blew a fuse or sensor.
You blew your main fuse. Hopefully the damage stopped there. You won't know until the main fuse is replaced. 5 bucks at any auto parts store.
Hopefully it is just a fuse, or battery, but unfortunately speaking from experience (my old S-10) it may have fried the computer.
buy a ford the problem will solve itself.
