1995 silverado 5.7 tbi stumbles?

Go to autozone. Borrow (for refundable deposit) their fuel pressure checker. Put it on the tank side of the fuel filter. Check pressure with key on/engine off. Should spike to 9-13PSI, and hold or at best SLOWLY drop. Start it, and watch pressure. Give it gas, watch pressure. If at any time it drops below 9PSI, drop the tank and see why. Common for this vintage for the in-tank fuel hose to split, losing pressure.

It could be injectors, along with lots of other stuff, but you can look at injector spray pattern while its running and see that, IF the fuel pressure is good. Fuel injector cleaner is garbage. Ethanol is bad enough to eat rubber, it's strong enough to clean injectors as good as any cleaner you can buy off the shelf.

i think like Country Boy is saying ! before getting into the injectors change the fuel filter, check the air filter and throw a bottle of good fuel injection cleaner in the tank ! that,s a nice truck you have there !

where the wires for injector goes through throttle body ,,the wire brakes or frayed,,also check for codes

So could a plugged fuel filter and or low fuel pressure.

My truck 1995 check silverado 5.7 tbi starts a little slow but will idle great. When I try to accelerate slowly it stumbles and surges unless I put It to the floor. When I tried replacing the TPS after resetting the ecu the truck would start then die immediately so I put the old tps back now it's back to stumbling. Would bad injectors cause this? Any ideas greatly appreciated.
