Center tread wear is an obvious sign of over inflation. Nothing else would cause such. Look at the info sticker on the door frame of your Chevrolet to find the recommended PSI and stick with it.
Open the drivers side door and look for the placard (sticker) that tells you the proper inflation pressure for the tires mounted on your truck. THAT is the proper pressure for your tires... NOT the numbers printed on the side of the tire.
Wearing down the center means they are over-inflated. Wearing on the sides means they are under-inflated.
That would normally show that they are overinflated....

I thought on tire wear they wear on sides causeing a egg shape mines are going bold in center and still have more tread on the edges is this normal on some makes and designs. chevy1500z71. prime well tires
