Would my car still be street legal in California?

Take the car down to the scrap yard and have it squished, then take $5000 out of the bank if you even have it, if not, every dollar you do have, poor gas on it and watch it burn. There, now you're further ahead because you have saved at least a years worth of time getting to the same place.

Why don't you go to a smog place and ask? Don't you think they would know? Or you can take the word of someone here. Your choice before you pixx away your money.

Not a chance in California. The equipment rules for emissions are so restrictive you are mostly stuck with all engine-related equipment.

how to pass inspection ??? Give the guy a 100$ ... Works for me

So i want to make my fifth gen prelude rwd. I know what all it takes to do the conversion. I just want to know if i would have any problems with the smog process in California. I have a ka24de-t and tranny that was intended for another car that was for track use only. But the engine in my prelude has burned up and the 3rd gear syncro is bad. So are there any complications with legal stuff that would keep this rwd conversion from being street legal.
