If it was going to kill you then you'd be dead already. 240V (not 250V) will only kill you if there's a very good connection through you to Earth, such as if you dropped a toaster in your bath whilst it was switched on and you were in the bath.
As an electronics engineer I've had countless shocks of that voltage and more, yet I'm still here.
Contrary to what the first answer says, DC is more dangerous than AC because it is always on, AC goes through zero several times a second so if you're gripping a wire then this gives you a chance to let go.
Hell No it will not kill you... It like what the premeditates give you when you have a heart attack... It is a small shock that stimulates the body... So you got nothing to worry about...
It's not the voltage, it's the amperage. If the amps are high enough, then yes. Nut the amps in a laptop, doubtful.
120 Volts will kill you. Alternating current is more dangerous than DC current.
i plugged my laptop into a 4 socket plug and i got a slight electric shock mind you i never touched it but will it kill me?
