See I don't no as much for imports but on the Chevy GMC you could release the the loose between your gears if its just the first one I'm guessing it be that it takes a while for your first gear to shift cause its almost shifting at 2000 turns right. Cause it has to make ip for the slack And the other gears don't have an issue ? If your oil is low too unless its just your accelerator cable that's real quick I believe you can set it on the engine and by the pedals. But not 100% for these imports they. Are creative

It could be starting out in 2nd or third gear. Limp mode maybe. Count the gear shifts from tale off. 2 or 3 is not enough.

It could be a number of things. Transmission, throttle body, fuel injection, etc. Have a trusty mechanic check it out, that way they don't rip you off by saying it's the transmission right off the bat.

i just bought a 1995 bmw 325i. The car is great but when i step on the gas pedal, it just does not take off, it take a good while to accelerate to the speed it should be going. A friend of mine told me its the transmission. I dont want to believe him but if thats true than its true. Please help me i need to know asap!
