Why do i hear my engine through my radio?

Grounds, antenna lead, noise supressors, circuitry of sound system components.

Factory schematics show noise supressor locations for ignition.

Newer electronics can have the protections in their circuitry.

Substitution is the testing procedure if parts are not corroded disconnected or fail to pass the test procedures in the factory manual.

The level of circuitry in the sound system components must be higher quality if no cause is found with your vehicle.

Grounding parts you suspect can be helpful. body panels, antenna leads with resistance, missing factory protections are among the list.

You can ask questions of installers of system accessories and tell them if there is anything odd about your system.

They will learn as you learn because this type of problem can be so difficult.

Alternator noise suppressed went bad. Or could be plug wires/ secondary ignition.

Thanks all, great feedback. it just came out of nowhere, so i think it could be the suppressor in the Alt
