He was a businessman who sold Computers. A marketing legend and a visionary for Apple, but not an engineer.
The key with Jobs, he knew that he couldn't do it alone. He hired engineers and gave them a vision of the finished product. He didn't design all the stuff himself. In the early days Wozniak was the technical leader and Jobs focused on marketing Steve knew his limitations, even if his ego wouldn't let him say it out loud.
