Automotive Engineering is offered only as a Master's degree at University of Michigan and you would need a BSE in Mechanical Engineering to apply.
The vast majority of automotive engineers get their undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering.
I didn't know any colleges offered automotive engineering.
I've read articles on which universities are considered the best for automotive engineering, and Uni. of Michigan, Kettering Univeristy, and a few others are always in the list. However, when I looked these universities up on collegeboard.com, and checked their offered majors, "automotive engineering" was never mentioned on the list. Why? If I want to be an automotive engineer, what do I have to do?
