Whats happening to my Toyota Corolla?

If there is a click in the engine compartment when you turn the key and it doesn't crank you have a bad starter solenoid and it's cheapest to just buy and install a rebuilt starter assembly.

If there is no noise I'd go and replace the electrical portion of the ignition switch.

Tony is right and just in case you were thinking of cleaning the cables I'd like to remind you to clean the insides I don't care about the outsides.

clean your battery cables

broken sell it and bye a washing machine

Sounds like the ignition switch is getting intermittently bad.

Recently I have began experiencing a odd issue with my 2007 Toyota Corolla.

When I go to start it, I put the key in the ignition and turn it and nothing happens, it doesn't turn over at all. What I have to do to get it to start is I have to turn the key really fast over and over again. Eventually it will begin to turn over and start up.

It doesn't happen every time I go to start the car, only every now and then.

What could be the problem?
