where as Electronics dealt with Basic Electronics ,Industrial electronics ,Instrumentation Electronics, DCS ,PLC controls & Industrial Automation etc. Both are different filed .
Electrical and electronic engineering may sound similar, but they are very different. Both involve moving electricity around a circuit to power useful products and machines, but that is where the similarity ends!

My rule of thumb is the screwdriver test: If you drop your screwdriver into a unit and the unit fails, it is electronics. If you drop your screwdriver into a unit and the screw driver fails, it is electrical.
