Civil engineers deal with construction, design, and maintenance of many physical structures such as buildings, bridges, roads, dams, etc.





You are responsible for overseeing the accurate construction of many different projects as well as planning. A degree in this field will prepare you for the many obstacles faced when engineering any of the many complicated designs required to meet the needs of cities, counties, states and other populated areas.
