I would get it jump started then take a Volt reading from your battery and slowly rev up. It should go up to 14.5 Volts and no more. If it goes higher it is a Faulty Voltage Regulator (Part of the Alternator) and that has cooked your battery.

better you can replace the batter and use pansonic battery for long lasting life
it just got old and wore out

Hello guys i have a 1999 gmc yukon i bought a new battery 3 months ago and now the battery is dead i took it to charge and they told me it doesnt hold charge so i got another one any ideas on what went wrong with the other battery?
