if your going with a automatic transmission you will have to buy another radiator because a automatic has to have someplace to hook up the cooler lines to and radiator with a manual transmission don,t have a place for the cooling lines !
You could, but it would take another flywheel and maybe even engine (some cranks are different-rare, but it happens). You'll also need the proper shifter, mounts, driveshaft(s) axles, shift cables, radiator and cooling lines, and computer.
ALSO----Someone who knows how to make the swap!
You can convert it but it isn`t cheap. You should probably look for a car with an automatic transmission already in it. It would also be very helpful to learn to drive a manual. That way you are not restricted to what you can drive.
it would be easier to keep it manual and i think it might cost more to change it to automatic.. i'd call and ask a mechanic at a local garage
So if I get a car without a transmission and put one it and the car was originally a manual then would I HAVE too put in a manual transmission or could I convert it to a automatic?
