Tires only takes 30 pounds of air?

32 is OK and less need to put air in so much because it can go down to 30, that's what i do.

If you have the original size tires mounted on the original rims, then yes... The placard on the driver's side door states the proper air pressure for your tires. If you have changed tires and rims to a larger size, then you'll have to experiment to find out what pressure gives you the best combination of ride, handling and tire wear.

The number molded into the sidewall of the tire is the MAXIMUM inflation pressure you can safely use on that tire (when measured cold) and pumping your tires up to that pressure will mean a harsh ride and rapid tire wear.

Why would you think it needs 35 pounds? Do you think the building full of guys with automotive engineering degrees and the reps from the tire company who spent years and billions of dollars designing and testing that car are incapable of figuring out the best tire pressure?

What the tire "looks like" at the correct inflation pressure is exactly what it is supposed to look like at the correct inflation pressure. Everything else is wrong. You are inappropriately imposing your own uninformed, subjective opinions that happen to be wrong.

I assure you that at 30 psi your car will ride and handle as intended, be fully capable of supporting the gross vehicle weight and (assuming everything else is in good order) the tires will wear properly.

You need to trust the the engineers and designer at Buick who determined the recommended PSI for your LeSabre. Why would you want to stray from what they determined would be best? Sure, you could bump it up to 32 or so perhaps. But anything more would unnecessarily make your ride more harsh and potentially wear out your tires prematurely.

Look on the sidewall of the tire and run what the tire says to run.

on my 1997 buick lesabre 3800 v6, why does it say only put 30 pounds of air in the tires ? you would think a big of car like that would least take 35 pounds cold ! i use to have a 88 oldsmobile that had 14 inch tires and it took 35 pounds of air so why this big of car takes only 30 pounds of air ? would it hurt to run 35 pounds of air cold in them ? when i put 30 pounds in them they look almost flat even after the tires gets hot ! thanks guys !
