Tesla was a brilliant man that solved many problems and lead technology to it's current state. It would be hard to imagine world today if Tesla's innovations ware to be merely turned off. He was misunderstood by his contemporaries because he was way ahead of the time. His main work was in producing, transporting and using electric energy. We are still using today his energy transport using high voltage, three phase system, industry is running on his AC induction motors etc. He was working with wireless system too. For better or worse nobody so far has beaten his accomplishments in terms of distance and delivered power wireless (many people make various claims and predictions but the bottom line is - they still have not done anything, hence my message to anyone taking any side - run experiment and show it to the world). Edison was already powerful and rich man when young Tesla arrived to North America. Edison hated Tesla from first day because of letter he brought and high praise comparing Tesla's intellect with Edison. He was even more upset when he realised the claims in letter ware true. He cheated Tesla out of money and created the ultimate opponent. Tesla eventually ruined Edison. (Edison liked money, Tesla didn't care about it).
There is no free energy. The closest we can get to "free" energy is to collect or harness what is available around us (solar, wave, etc.). Tesla knew it (as it can be read in his papers like

The same cannot be said for masses of uneducated people that know nothing about physics but use Tesla's name in their quest for free energy.
There is no free energy. Anyone who tries to tell you there is doesn't know what the is talking about.
yes he was working on free energy
I knew of Nikola Tesla and his work with electricity and that he was a brilliant mind. A while ago I heard about how he created free energy, or was at least working on it, but his work was suppressed by power companies. Recently I saw the "epic rap battle" video where the character talks about Thomas Edison killing the idea.
I looked it up but the only results I found linked to a spam site, (that wouldn't let me out thanks to pop ups). So is there any validity to this? Was he working on, (or created) free energy and was kept down by the man...or is this just legend?
